Pre-sentence report ordered into a case of a woman who admitted three assault charges

A pre-sentence report has been ordered into a case of a woman who admitted three assault charges that was before Derry Magistrates Court today.
Nicole Scott, 29, of Holly Lane, was charged with two counts of assault after an incident involving two care workers on November 11 last year.
The court heard that Scott had requested medication from the two care workers but was refused, leading to Scott assaulting them.
One was struck on the shoulder and another on the ribs.
Neither were injured but Scott was arrested and made a full admission, telling police that she 'didn't mean to hit them'.
Scott was also charged with a similar offence from May 1 this year, when, the court heard, she attacked another care worker.
The court was told that Scott was acting in a very aggressive manner towards staff, getting angry and raising clenched fists.
She was arrested and reportedly said that she was sorry and felt bad for what she'd done.
District Judge Oonagh Mullan ordered a pre-sentence report, due on November 24.
