"Pull up a chair and just listen to them regale you with their entertaining tales in their softly-spoken lilt" - Derry accent voted Ireland's sexiest

For a small country, there is definitely a huge variety of accents in Ireland.

That inevitably leads to a lot of competition when it comes to which accent is the nicest - or the sexiest.

Here in Derry, we're very proud of our accent.

And it seems like the rest of Ireland agreed when they got their chance to vote on the sexiest accent in the country.

According to website Lovin.ie, our accent is THE sexiest in Ireland.

"Pull up a chair and just listen to them regale you with their entertaining tales in their softly-spoken lilt," they said.

The website used a video of our very own Nadine Coyle in the infamous moment on Popstars when it was discovered she had lied about her age.

Do you think the Derry accent is the sexiest in Ireland?
