Members of the public are advised of potential traffic disruption in Coleraine on Friday evening, April 24 due to a planned parade.

Roads in and around the town will be closed between 8pm and 11pm, with the outward parade expected to leave at 8.30pm from Railway Place.

It will then take the following route: Railway Road, Kingsgate Street, Long Commons, Newmarket Street, New Row, The Diamond, Bridge Street, Old Bridge, Slip Road, Killowen Street, Slip Road, Old Bridge, Millburn Road, Union Street, Railway Road and Ballycastle Road.

It is expected to finish at approximately 11pm.

As the route includes much of the town centre and the Waterside area of Coleraine, motorists are advised to plan alternative routes.

Police officers will be present to manage traffic and public safety throughout the parade.

To avoid potential delays, please allow extra time for your journey and seek an alternative route where possible during these times.
