Two men due in court charged with GBH following Derry assault
Suspects aged 31 and 61 face GBH with intent charges following Lecky Road incident, while a third man is charged with assisting offenders
Detectives in Derry investigating a serious assault in the city have charged two men man to court.
The men aged 61 and 31-years-old have both been charged with grievous bodily harm with intent, and are due to appear before Derry Magistrates’ Court today, Wednesday, June 17.
The charge relate to an assault reported in the Lecky Road area of the city on Monday, June 15.As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
A 33-year-old man has been charged with assisting offenders on Tuesday, June 16 and is due to appear before Derry Magistrate's Court on Wednesday, July 8.
