Walk with a difference around Derry's Walls next month to raise money for rescue groups who helped in search for Jack Glenn

A walk with a difference will be held around Derry’s famous walls next month.
The Sollus Highland Dancers are organising a ‘Tartan Walk’ around the walls on Wednesday, August 9.
The event, which starts at 4pm, is being organised to raise funds which helped in the recent search for Jack Glenn.
Jack (pictured above) was seen entering the River Foyle on February 2.
A major search operation was launched and the 23-year-old’s body was eventually found in March.
Anyone looking to take part in next month’s walk is asked to wear some form of tartan clothing.
It will cost £5 to take part in the walk and registration will be on the day in the Apprentice Boys hall at Society Street.
