WATCH: Firefighters tackling blaze at Institute's Riverside Stadium

Firefighters are at the scene of an ongoing blaze at the former home of Institute FC in Derry.

It is understood the fire broke out at the Riverside Stadium shortly after 9pm.

The stadium was destroyed in severe flooding during August 2017, with Institute FC unable to return to the ground after an infestation of Japanese Knotweed.

The team, which plays in the NIFL Championship, plays its home fixtures in the Ryan McBride Brandywell stadium.
