Talent was something that certainly was not in short supply in Teach Hiúdaí Beag on Saturday night where everyone that participated in the evening's festivities has one or more than one All-Ireland title behind them.
The evening was organised to celebrate all those who had participated and won earlier this year at Oireachtas na Gaeilge in Killarney.
The MC and organiser of the hugely successful night was All-Ireland champion singer and actress Clíona Ní Ghallachóir. She kept spirits high and ensured that no one felt left out.
Eoghan Ó Curraighín and his wife Máire traveled from Teileann to Gaoth Dobhair to enjoy the night.
Eoghan said that the night was superb and said that it was evident that the Irish language and culture is thriving in Gaoth Dobhair. The ten time All-Ireland champion took to the stage to recount one of his award-winning stories earlier in the evening and no one was left in any doubt as to why Eoghan is such a champion.
One of the youngest performers on the evening was Searlas Óg Ó Baoill who was a delight to listen to and to watch.
Those present enjoyed songs from Sorcha Ní Lorcáin, Clíona Ní Ghallachóir, Séamus Corbett, Doimnic Mac Giolla Bhríde (Buaiteoir Corn Uí Riada, 2009), Máire Ní Choilm (Buaiteoir Corn Uí Riada, 2019), Diane Ní Chanainn, Niamh Ní Dhubhgain, Noeleen Ní Cholla, Clíona Ní Ghallachóir among many others.
Clíona and Niamh also performed their Lúibiní which outlined their journey and adventures at Oireachtas na Gaeilge this year. The night came to a resounding finale as all singers took to the stage to Tory Island's song - Amhrán na Scadáin.
