Aluminium body trailer stolen from east Donegal yard
Three males in a white estate car are believed to have taken the trailer before heading off into the night
An aluminium body trailer has been stolen in east Donegal in the early hours, with the perpetrators gaining access by cutting the lock of the gate.
At approximately 12:50am on Thursday, October 29, an 8' x 5' aluminium body trailer with mesh sides was stolen from the CAKE centre in Killygordon.
“The lock on the main gate had been cut, and three males in a white estate car (possibly a Ford) hitched the trailer on before leaving in the direction of the Crossroads,” a Garda spokesperson said.
“It is believed that they also travelled to the Centre from the Crossroads direction.
“We appeal to anyone who may have travelled in the Killygordon or Crossroads areas (Monellan Road - Carn border included) with a dash-cam between 00.30am and 1am on October 29th, to make the footage available to Gardaí.
“Should anyone have any relevant information in relation to the current location of the trailer or in relation to the incident, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.”
