Amenity lighting official switch-on at Aodh Ruadh to take place on Friday

Those wishing to walk or run should come suitably attired, with things getting underway on Friday at 5:15pm
Aodh Ruadh CLG club members and friends are invited to Páirc Aoidh Ruaidh in Ballyshannon, where club President PJ Buggy will perform the official switching-on of the amenity lighting at the Fitness Trail and Outdoor Gym.
Those wishing to walk or run should come suitably attired, with things getting underway on Friday at 5:15pm. A 5k walk or run will take place over eight laps of the track and each individual can decide how many laps they want to do.
"This new all-weather facility will be available for all club units for pre-season off-field training over the coming weeks," club PRO John Hughes said. "Club units will be notified directly on booking arrangements. This project has been delivered by our Park / Development Committee through its own fundraising initiatives, together with the generous sponsorship of equipment by Fergal O'Connell and the part-funding of the gymnasium element through the JP McManus initiative, which all GAA clubs benefited from.
"Particular thanks to our team of workers at our grounds who have brought this project forward, in stages, over recent years. There will be refreshments in Owen Roe's immediately afterwards."
