Well known and popular Ballyshanon man, Brendan 'Mannix' Gallagher and former Town Councillor is celebrating his 70th Birthday on Tuesday March 26 in Dorrian's Hotel, Ballyshannon.

He said:

"To coincide with my birthday I'm using it as a fundraiser for RNLI Bundoran.

There will be food ,Irish Dancers, and many local artists on the night. Everyone is welcome and no presents as your presence will be wonderful and bring a pal.

"Dorrian's are offering a special price of €60 per person for B&B 00353 719851147. The gig starts off at 8pm and will go on to the early hours."

It should be a great night for Mannix and everyone in the RNLI as anyone that knows him down the years, will tell you he is a hard man to say no to!

And with Mannix in tow, it will be a great night's entertainment for sure.
