“Sadly yesterday two young gentleman took it upon themselves to enter the course grounds, on an electric scooter and caused untold damage to our eighth green, over a 14-minute period of pure havoc, where they rallied their scooter around the green for the entire period,” read a statement from Buncrana Golf Club on Facebook on Saturday afternoon.

“The culprits have been caught on the club's CCTV and can be seen entering the course at approximately 17.38 and leaving at 17.52, after causing 14 minutes of destruction.placeholder image

“They have one chance and one chance only. If they would like to contact the club to settle this amicably, they know where we are. Otherwise we will be forced to post these videos online and hand the videos over to the Garda, who we are sure will be very interested indeed in what they can see and hear.”
