Dermot Donohue to be remembered at Letterkenny Blues and Roots Festival

A Night for DD is held in loving memory of Dermot Donohue — known to all who loved him as DD — who spent time in the care of the Donegal Hospice
This year's Letterkenny Blues and Roots Festival gets underway with a night close to many hearts.
A Night for DD takes place on Wednesday, July 1, at the Radisson Blu Hotel, Letterkenny, with doors opening at 8pm, featuring a performance by the Delta Boys & Friends. Entry is by donation on the door.
The event is held in loving memory of Dermot Donohue — known to all who loved him as DD — who spent time in the care of the Donegal Hospice. Organised by the Delta Boys, family and friends, A Night for DD is a chance for family, friends, and the wider community to gather, have a bit of craic and give something back to the organisations that cared for him.

Funds raised on the night will be shared between two causes dear to those who knew DD: the Donegal Hospice, which provides compassionate palliative care to patients and families across the county, and the Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association, which supports those living with MND and their loved ones throughout Ireland.
Taking place on the opening night of the Blues and Roots Festival, the event sets the tone for a weekend. The Delta Boys & Friends promise a night of live music worthy of the man it honours — warm, joyful, and full of the good company DD was known for. As the night itself says: Live Music. Great Friends. Stronger Together.
All are welcome. Entry is by donation on the door, and donations can also be made online at iDonate A Night for DD with the Delta Boys and Friends. Every euro raised goes directly to the two charities.
