Donegal Firefighters Association to host annual hospice collection
The annual fundraiser will be held at fire stations across Donegal on Saturday, August 1
The Donegal Firefighters Association (DFA) are hosting a bucket collection in aid of local hospices.
The annual collection will be held at fire stations across the county on Saturday, August 1. Proceeds will be divided between The Donegal Hospice, North West Hospice and Foyle Hospice.
“Due to the current hose pipe restrictions, we will not be washing vehicles at any Fire Station, but your local Fire Crew will be out with a bucket collection,” they posted. “If you are out and about this Saturday, please stop by your local station and support.”
Over the past number of years, the DFA has raised hundreds of thousands for palliative care services in the county.
