Dublin to Creeslough runners on final leg of gruelling feat for tragedy fund

Neil McCollum and Mario Talotti set out for Creeslough from Dublin on Thursday to raise money for the Creeslough fund
Two men who are running from Dublin to Creeslough to raise money for the Creeslough fund are on the final leg of their gruelling feat.
Dunfanaghy man Neil McCollum, and South African native, Mario Talotti, who are both based in Kildare, commenced the challenge from the Phoenix Park on Thursday morning with the aim of raising funds for the fund for those affected by last October’s explosion in Creeslough which claimed the lives of ten people.
The pair were expected to be coming through Letterkenny at around 3.30pm on Saturday.
Speaking at a stop at Donoughmore National School in Castlefinn around 1pm, Neil said: "We are just keeping things steady. It was a great feeling to cross the border earlier and get back into Donegal.
"It's warm and getting warmer, so staying hydrated is important. We're looking forward to getting through Letterkenny and seeing the sign for Termon. The next sign we'll see after that will be for Creeslough.”
The finish line for the pair will be St Michael's Church in Creeslough.
