Mary Jo Bonner is delighted to be appointed Dungloe's Mayor.

The Burtonport native has been selected to serve a one-year term and attend various charitable events.  “I got elected and it was great to think that people voted for me,” Mary Jo told DonegalLive. “It made me very emotional, thinking I was worthy of being the Mayor of Dungloe. I was put forward to represent the Maghery Senior Social Club and they were very much in favour of me going, which I must say overwhelmed me.”placeholder image
