Four cars keyed overnight at Ballyshannon housing estate

Ballyshannon Gardaí are investigating four incidents of criminal damage that occurred at St Benildus Avenue, Ballyshannon, between 1.30am and 9.30am on Thursday, March 9.

Residents in that area had parked their cars overnight only to discover the following morning that their cars had been keyed. There was damage caused to the doors and bonnets of the cars.

"We are appealing to anybody who may have witnessed any suspicious activity in the area on that date to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on 071-9858530," reads a Garda statement. "If anybody has any information that might help progress this investigation they may contact local Gardaí or the Garda Confidential line on 1800 666 111."
