Darkness into Light celebrated its 10th anniversary today and Bundoran was one of the 13 locations where it was staged in Donegal this morning.
The annual event sees thousands of people participate in a 5k walk or run at sunrise while raising vital funds for Pieta. The event took place in over 200 locations in Ireland and across the globe.

Bundoran joined Letterkenny, Carrick, Carrigart, Narin/Portnoo, Ballybofey and Stranorlar, Rathmullan, Arranmore Island, Buncrana, Carndonagh, Donegal Town, Gaoth Dobhair, and Tory Island.
Pieta provides life-saving support services for those in suicidal distress and for those who have been bereaved through suicide. The walks will begin in darkness at sunrise and continue through to dawn to symbolise the journey from despair to hope.
