Garda motorcyclist hospitalised after south Donegal crash

A Garda motorcyclist was injured following a collision with a car in Donegal on Friday afternoon.

The man, aged in his early 40s was injured in a collision at around 3.35pm.

The two-vehicle crash occurred between the Tullyearl roundabout and Laghey village.

The Garda was removed to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of what are said to be non-life threatening injuries.

The second vehicle involved in the collision was a privately owned vehicle and not a vehicle taking part in the Donegal International Rally.

A Garda spokesperson told Donegal Live that investigations are ongoing into the incident.
