Gardaí are investigating an alleged assault in Carndonagh which resulted in a male teenager being taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident occurred in the Malin Street area of the town shortly before 11.40pm on Halloween night, Saturday, October 31.

Gardaí received a report of an unconscious male, understood to be in his late teens, lying on the street at the location.
