A television show that has the broadcast reach into 97% of all households in 49 states in the United States will feature Donegal's Hanna Hats.
Ireland with Michael are working on their sixth series, hosted by proud Wexford man and Emmy-nominated singer/producer Michael Londra. The series is set to air in early October.
Michael met with Elanor Hanna, General Manager at Hanna Hats of Donegal Ltd, who spoke to him about the business, which was set up in 1924 by her grandfather David, and traded initially as David Hanna Bespoke Tailoring and has been run by the family since.
"We got to see lovely Eleanor from Hanna Hats of Donegal while shooting season six at the incredible Harvey's Point Hotel," Ireland with Michael posted. "It is amazing to hear that people watch our show and then visit their amazing factory/store in Donegal Town. Since I am a bit of a collector of their fantastic caps she gave me an incredible array of hats with our logo on them."
Season five of the show highlighted Glencolmcille Folk Village, Ardara, Donegal Tweed and local businessman and sixth-generation weaver Ciaran Molloy, from Molloy & Sons Woollen Mill.
