In Pictures: Colaiste Cholmcille Ballyshannon Student awards

It was an exciting day for the secondary school students of Colaiste Cholmcille Ballyshannon yesterday when the annual student awards ceremony took place in the Mercy Hall where Austin O'Callaghan, Head of Sport at Ocean FM and formerly of the BBC was guest of honour.

The Spirit of the Coláiste Cholmcille Award overall winner, Orlaith O'Neill, was also recognised at their Awards Ceremony yesterday. In a really brilliant day, Joseph Harrison and Bobbie Griffith, were announced as the incoming Head Boy and Head Girl in September, while a special thank you also went out to outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl, Jamie McManus and Catherine Browne, who were excellent in their roles and did the whole school proud.

"We are very grateful for the time and effort you both put into your roles. Wishing you both all the best for the future," the school said.
