Rossnowlagh Farmers Market has set the tone for St Patrick’s Weekend with a fantastic morning of music, dance, arts and crafts, food and more. Click on the arrows to see Philip Mulligan's photos of the event
The market took place in the Friary Hall, and was a special St Patrick’s Day edition of the weekly event.
The morning’s entertainment was hosted by the very talented Maura Logue. Children from Creevy NS delighted those gathered with singing, traditional music and Irish dancing. Kids Kove preschoolers enjoyed arts and crafts, and enthralling interactive storytelling with Maura.
There was a seedsavers event, and the usual wonderful array of local food producers and crafters.
Rossnowlagh Farmers Market takes place every Friday from 10am to 1pm, offering high quality produce, fostering a strong sense of community, and always adding something extra, be it in the form of entertainment, talks or events that help people to engage meaningfully with the local beach and wider environment.
