Two local lads, Jamie Pearson, Leghowney and Patrick McMullin, Laghey, took part in the charity head and beard shave in aid of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) and Alzheimer's Ireland.

There was great support for the lads at the Seven Arches bar in Laghey on Saturday night as hairdressers Grainne Gallagher and Sonya McMenamin did the honours. A great night was enjoyed by all, which included an auction and raffle.
