Letterkenny Rovers FC to hold 5k run and walk

Letterkenny Rovers FC announces its upcoming community 5K run and walk.

The 5k is taking place on Sunday, August 23 at 10.30 am.

Starting and finishing at Letterkenny Community Centre, this event is fully open to the public, meaning no club membership is required to take part.

The first 50 participants to sign up will be automatically entered into a special draw to win a €50 ShopLk Voucher, kindly supporting local businesses.

Runners/walkers can look forward to a fast, flat course that is perfect for setting records or enjoying an easy-paced jog. To guarantee maximum accuracy for competitors, the event features official chip timing, ensuring every runner receives a precise, professional record of their performance.

All proceeds raised from the entry fees will go directly toward the Club’s Development Fund, where the primary goal is to upgrade club facilities, specifically the building of changing rooms.

Whether you are a seasonal athlete chasing a personal best or a family looking for a non-football-related activity, everyone is welcome!

Entry fees are charged at €10 per participant, €7 for under-18 entry, and €25 for family entry.
