Letterkenny shop units to become apartments

Plans are in place to turn two retail units in Letterkenny town centre into apartments.

Planning permission has been sought for the works at Crerand House on Larkin’s Lane.

Richard and Mary Blake have submitted a request for a change of use.

They plan to turn two shop units into two apartments with all necessary alternations to the building facade and utilisation of existing public services.

The local authority says a decision is due to be made by February 13, 2024.
