White is an English chef, restaurateur, and television personality who, in 1995, became the youngest chef to earn three Michelin stars. He has trained chefs, including Gordon Ramsay and has been dubbed "the first celebrity chef" by the Times of London. From 2006 to 2021, Fort appeared as a judge on the BBC television series Great British Menu.

"It was an absolute honour to host Marco Pierre White, the legendary chef, and Matthew Fort, the celebrated food critic and broadcaster, at The Lemon Tree last night," The Lemon Tree posted. "Thank you, Marco and Matthew, for joining us, it was a pleasure and a privilege! Catch the lads out in Oakfield Park for the Donegal Festival of Food all this weekend."
