Motorcyclist hospitalised with 'serious' injuries after Donegal crash

The collision occurred at around 4.30pm in the area of Derryfad between Termon and Creeslough and a stretch of the N56 was closed for a period of time
A motorcyclist was hospitalised with serious injuries following a crash on the N56 road in Sunday.
The collision occurred at around 4.30pm in the area of Derryfad between Termon and Creeslough.
A male motorcyclist was removed from the scene to Letterkenny University Hospital with what have been described as “serious” injuries.
Gardai and other emergency services attended the scene.
A stretch of the N56 was closed for a time and local diversions were put in place.
The road was reopened again on Sunday evening.
