A motorist faces a court date after being caught driving at 174km/h in Donegal on Friday evening.
Gardai from the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit made the detection in the Newtowncuningham area.
The driver was clocked at 174km/h on the N13, a road governed by a 100km/h speed limit.
The driver of the car was charged to appear in court.
A Garda spokesperson said: “Slow down. Keep the race in its place.”
