Music fans advised to secure their tickets for major Donegal concert
Hosted by Eamonn Gillespie, the much anticipated concert features Altan, Brian Kennedy and more in the strongest line-up to date, and concert goers will have the opportunity to win the holiday of a lifetime while supporting local charities
The countdown is on to one of Donegal’s most anticipated events of the summer - Eamonn Gillespie’s Concert With The Greats.
“It is the strongest line-up to date,” Eamonn told the Donegal Democrat.
“I am looking forward to welcoming everyone to a reception in the garden of Bruckless Rest.
“From there, we will walk around the corner to our bigger and airier marquee in the grounds of Bruckless Community and Sports Centre. This will allow us a more stylish and comfortable seating arrangement.”
The phenomenal line-up includes Mairéad Ní Mhaonaigh and the great Altan, as well as Brian Kennedy, Mike Denver, Brendan Shine, and The Showband Show with Keith, Frankie and Lorraine McDonald.
And not only will concert-goers be treated to a wonderful afternoon of entertainment, audience members will also have an exclusive opportunity to win the trip of a lifetime. The prize is a holiday for two guests in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates staying in a luxurious 5-star hotel with return flights and on their last night, a dining experience at Mc Cafferty's Downtown Dubai, courtesy of Declan Boyle, proprietor of McCafferty’s Bar, Donegal Town.
Eamonn said: “This is a must prize to get your hands on. This magnificent prize is only available to guests attending the concert on July 13. All proceeds from the raffle will be donated to continuous improvements at the Church of St Joseph and Conal Bruckless and Bruckless Community and Sports Centre.”
The concert takes place in Bruckless on Sunday, July 13 at 3.30pm, with a limited number of tickets remaining. It is strongly recommended that tickets are purchased in advance for this unique opportunity to enjoy such a wonderful line-up under one roof and in such a delightful setting. Admission includes the concert itself as well as refreshments and treats on the day.
