Plans have been lodged to turn the former Bank of Ireland in Moville into a restaurant and a residential apartment.
Bank of Ireland closed its branch in the Foyleside town in September 2021.
Now, there are plans to give the property, on Main Street, Moville, a facelift.
A planning application in the name of Paul and Louise McElvaney, has been submitted to Donegal County Council.
They are seeking permission for a change of use from the vacant bank building to a first-floor residential apartment, and a ground floor licensed restaurant, with demolition of rear single-storey extension and construction of new part two-storey and part single-storey rear extension.
That would include: Restaurant dining area; ancillary kitchen, toilets and stores.; external dining and smoking area; external ancillary stores.
