Over €2,000 donated to Donegal Food Response Network

Dunfanaghy Golf Club donated to an organisation helping to tackle food poverty in the county
A total of €2,069.67 was donated to Donegal Food Response Network (DFRN).
Funds were used to purchase food and hygiene products, as DFRN supports community and voluntary organisations tackling food poverty.

Dunfanaghy Golf Club donated the funds that were raised through a four-ball waltz competition.
“This follows another generous contribution from Dunfanaghy Golf Club earlier this year,” DLDC, who are responsible for establishing DFRN, said. “As part of Lady Captain’s Day, Amanda Witherow encouraged donations in support of the network.”
DFRN consists of 21 community and voluntary organisations across Donegal which deliver over 100,000 food packages annually to families and individuals.
