Somebody wants Donegal County Council to fix this road!

Fed-up Ballybofey residents warn visitors to 'tighten bra straps' and 'remove false teeth' in pothole warning sign that's certainly grabbing attention in the Twin Towns area.

People living on a pothole-plagued road around Kee's Mill that connects the two roads to Glenfin have taken matters into their own hands to warn other drivers of the dangers ahead.

Locals now fear that damage to their vehicles could run into thousands of euro.

"It's not fair. The council appears to have money for everything except the basics like our local roads. It's not good enough. They have launched more plans than Nasa has rockets but we're still no further forward in this part of the county," said one angry local.

It is expected the issue will be raised at today's council meeting in Lifford.

The issue has been raised at several council meetings but matters have only got worse following the recent bad spells.
