Sinn Féin has announced a reshuffle of its frontbench for the 34th Dáil, although Donegal's key personnel are maintaining their positions.

Pearse Doherty, the party’s Deputy Leader will continue as Finance Spokesperson, and Padraig MacLochlainn is staying on as the party’s Chief Whip.

Eoin Ó Broin stays in Housing and David Cullinane remains in Health. Matt Carthy moves to Justice, while Donnachadh Ó Laoghaire goes to Foreign Affairs. Louise O'Reilly moves to social protection and Mairead Farrell returns to the public expenditure role.

“We remain convinced that a fair and equal Ireland will only be achieved by a new Government for working people,” party president Mary Lou McDonald said. “We will never give up on this goal. We will keep working for its achievement. Until that opportunity arrives, we will provide formidable opposition to this Government and champion an Ireland where workers, families and communities come first.”
