St Naul's GAA Club submits proposals to alter previously granted planning permission application

St Naul’s GAA Club has sought planning permission from Donegal County Council to construct a new community room at its club grounds in Mountcharles.

The proposal involves an alteration to a previously granted planning permission obtained in April 2024, where Donegal County Council granted St Naul’s GAA the green light for the demolition of existing storage buildings and the construction of a new gym building adjacent to the existing clubhouse.

A planner’s report, which detailed the previously successful planning application, said that the principle of the application was to “replace existing buildings that are of age with a purpose-built building to serve club needs.”

Donegal County Council has set a decision due date for the submitted application for June 22.
