Spar change! €500,000 EuroMillions ticket sold in Donegal shop

“The winner could be anyone who stopped by on Monday and picked up a EuroMillions ticket”
The search is now on for a potential Inishowen lottery winner who is €500,000 richer after a winning EuroMillions Plus ticket was sold at Spar Bridgend this week.
The Quick Pick ticket was purchased at the busy Spar store on the Buncrana Road in Bridgend on Monday, September 14
The winning numbers in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions Plus draw were 08, 10, 25, 30 and 41, making the mystery Donegal ticket-holder the biggest winner in the country from the draw.
With thousands of motorists and shoppers passing through Bridgend every day, the lucky winner could be anyone who stopped at the shop on Monday and decided to buy a EuroMillions ticket.
National Lottery spokesperson Darragh O’Dwyer urged players who purchased tickets at Spar Bridgend that day to check them carefully.
“With a steady stream of motorists calling into the busy Spar Bridgend store each day, the winner could be anyone who stopped by on Monday and picked up a EuroMillions ticket that is now worth €500,000!” he said.
“The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of it and keep it somewhere safe.”
The lucky winner can contact the National Lottery Prize Claims team on 1800 666 222 or email [email protected] to arrange collection of the prize at National Lottery headquarters.
More than 36,000 players across Ireland won prizes in Tuesday night’s EuroMillions and EuroMillions Plus draws – but one mystery player in Donegal has landed the big one.
Meanwhile, tonight’s Lotto jackpot is set to roll towards an estimated €3.2 million.
