St Mary’s National School Parents Association in Stranorlar has launched a fundraising draw.

It is to support two key development projects at the school: the enhancement of its STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) education facilities and the creation of a sensory garden to promote inclusive learning and well-being.

The fundraising initiative offers a chance for participants to win a prize package designed to excite music fans, with the highlight being two tickets to see global pop icon Robbie Williams perform live at Croke Park on Saturday, August 23. The prize also includes one night’s hotel accommodation in Dublin and a €250 shopping voucher for McElhinney's, giving the winner a full VIP experience for the concert.

Tickets for the draw are priced at €10 each and are available from the school office, participating local shops, and online via a QR code. The draw will take place on Friday, May 23.placeholder image

The Parents Association said the fundraiser represents an important opportunity to invest in the future of the school’s pupils.

“Our goal is to enrich the learning environment for all students, whether through hands-on STEM education or the calming, inclusive benefits of a sensory garden,” they said. “We’re inviting the whole community — and beyond — to get involved and support this exciting vision.”

Proceeds from the draw will go directly toward upgrading classroom resources for science and technology education, and designing a garden space that provides sensory stimulation and mindfulness opportunities for students of all needs and abilities.
