Stormy weather accounts for Donegal LGFA ‘Dip for Donegal’
The Donegal LGFA were due to hit the sea at Downings Beach but severe weather conditions mean that fundraising event has now been postponed for a later date
The Donegal LFGA has had to postpone their ‘Dip for Donegal’ fundraiser due to the adverse and stormy weather conditions currently engulfing the county.
The event was scheduled to take place this afternoon, Saturday, December 30, on Downings Beach. However, organisers have now decided to reschedule for a later date.
A short statement on their social media pages read: Unfortunately, due to the weather conditions in parts of the county, and with severe weather forecasted for later, we have decided to postpone the dip until further notice. Apologies for any inconvenience.
