Teddy Bear Picnic returns to Buncrana for Feel Good Fortnight

Children are encouraged to bring their favourite teddy and picnic for a day of family fun in Buncrana.
Families from across Inishowen are being invited to bring along their favourite teddy bear and enjoy a fun-filled day at the annual iCARE Teddy Bear Picnic, which returns today as part of Feel Good Fortnight.
The popular community event takes place today, Saturday, July 4, from 11am to 1pm at the iCARE Centre, in Buncrana.
iCare staff are looking forward to welcoming families back for another memorable day of fun and have extended an open invitation to everyone in the community.
"We are delighted to announce iCARE's annual Teddy Bear Picnic will be happening again this year as part of Feel Good Fortnight," a spokesperson for iCare said. "Come along to our centre for a fun-filled family day. Everyone is welcome. Don't forget your picnic and, of course, your favourite teddy!"
A packed programme of activities has been organised, with something to entertain children of all ages. Attractions include face painting, a lemonade stand, children's tattoos, bouncy castles, a barbecue, sensory spaces, the iCAFÉ, and plenty more throughout the day.
Adding to the atmosphere will be live music from talented performer Amy O'Connor, providing entertainment for families as they enjoy the picnic.
The annual event has become a favourite in the local calendar, bringing families together for a relaxed afternoon of fun, while showcasing the welcoming environment at the iCARE Centre.
Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. Just remember to bring a picnic blanket, your lunch, and, most importantly, your favourite teddy bear.
