Teenager hospitalised in Donegal following ‘a number of assaults’ in broad daylight
A male teenager was hospitalised following an altercation that took place last Thursday in Carndonagh town
A male teenager was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital following a number of incidents in Carndonagh.
An altercation is believed to have taken place between some male youths/teenagers between 5:45pm and 6:30pm last Thursday. The incidents occurred at The Diamond and then at Malin Street shortly after.
The male teenager was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital following the incident to receive treatment for non-life-threatening injuries sustained.
“Gardaí are in the process of gathering witness statements and all available CCTV will be viewed,” Garda Shaun Sweeney said. “We appeal to any witnesses who have not yet spoken to Gardaí to get in touch with Buncrana Garda Station on 074-9320540.
“We appeal to anyone who may have travelled within the town, particularly in the areas of The Diamond or Malin Street between 5pm and 7pm with a dash-cam, to make the footage available to us.”
