Watch: The moment a Donegal man wins €104,000 on live radio
Seamus picked up the call from presenter Barry Dunne from SPIN 1038 and guessed the winning amount for the Cash Machine competition
Ramelton man Seamus Burke had a lucky Friday 13 when he took the winning call worth €104,000 on a national radio competition.
Seamus picked up the call from presenter Barry Dunne from SPIN 1038 and guessed the winning amount for the Cash Machine competition. He told the presenter he was "wandering about Letterkenny” at the time of the call, and said the weather was “scalding”.
Asked how he would spend the money, he said he would celebrate with his partner Jackie.
The Cash Machine gives listeners of the Go Loud network of stations the chance to win a life-changing amount of cash every day. They must answer the call in five rings and then give the exact amount - in euro and cent - to claim the prize of that amount.
The Go Loud network includes Today FM, SPIN 1038, Newstalk, 98 FM, SPIN South West, Red FM, iRadio, Beat 102 - 103 and OTB.
