WATCH:Great atmosphere and weather at Lá Fhéile Pádraig in Gaoth Dobhair

It was a wonderful day parade from beginning to end in sunny Gaoth Dobhair earlier today. The emergency service vehicles led the way from the Crossroads in Bunbeg and made their way towards Molloy's supermarkerket. 

Many of the floats and vehicles through sweets along the side of the street where families stood. The theme of the day was teanga agus teaghlach and was organised by Comharchumann Forbartha Ghaoth Dobhair. 

The vintage and classic car display was very well received. Local bus and haulage companies also participated in the float. 

There was plenty of Irish dancing too. A number of bands participated which included people of all ages.
