Woman charged following assault in Bundoran

A woman has been charged in connection with an assault on a woman in her 30s in Bundoran.

Gardaí say the assault took place at approximately 11.30pm on Wednesday at a residence in the town.

The injured woman was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A woman in her 30s who was later arrested has been charged and was due to appear in Ballyshannon District Court on Friday morning.
