Young driver tried to make getaway from Donegal gardaí before getting stuck

'It transpired that the driver had a learner permit and no insurance,' Garda Gráinne Doherty said. 'The matter will be dealt with under the Juvenile Liaison Scheme'
A young driver in Inishowen will be dealt with by the Juvenile Liaison Scheme after failing to shake off gardaí whilst making a getaway.
An Garda Siochana in Carndonagh encountered a vehicle with no front registration plate on Saturday, February 7.
“They turned the car and the other driver then took off at a high speed onto a bog road and was forced to stop due to the rough terrain. It transpired that the driver had a learner permit and no insurance,” Garda Gráinne Doherty said. “The matter will be dealt with under the Juvenile Liaison Scheme.”
