Death notices for Donegal on Friday morning, January 24
The following deaths have taken place:

- Edel Vitalis (née Doherty), Glencolmcille and London

Sr Sheila Skeffington, OP
The death has taken place of St Sheila Skeffington OP, Santa Sabina House, Dominican Convent, Cabra Dublin and formerly of Castlefin. She passed away peacefully in the care of the community and staff of Santa Sabina House, Navan Road.
Deeply regretted by her loving sisters Nuala and Joan, nephews, Michael John and Ian, Dominican sisters, relatives, and friends, predeceased by her father John, mother Elizabeth and brother Michael.
Removal to Dominican Chapel, Cabra, for Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10.30am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The Mass may be viewed here
Edel Vitalis (née Doherty), Glencolmcille and London
The death has occurred peacefully, surrounded by her loving family of Edel Vitalis, née Doherty, of London, formerly of Glencolmcille.
She is sadly missed by her husband Richard, son Orin, father Jim, sisters Emer (Gavin), Catherine (Stephen), brothers Kenneth (Julie) and Owen (Caitriona), nieces Aoife, Saorlaith and Leah, nephews Josh and Jamie and her wide circle of relatives and friends. Edel is predeceased by her mother Ann, sister Dervla and mother-in-law Catherine.
Her funeral and cremation will take place in London, with details to be released at a later date. A Mass for Edel will be held at St Columba's Church, Cashel, Glencolmcille, County Donegal, on Saturday at 10am.

Mary B Sweeney, Falcarragh
The peaceful death has occurred of Mary B Sweeney, Clonbara, Falcarragh.
She is sadly missed by her nieces and nephews and extended family.
Family time after the Rosary and again on the morning of the funeral.
Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Friday in St Finian’s Church (Teach Phobail Naomh Fionán), Falcarragh F92 N6Y9 with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
