Donegal U-16s suffer late heartbreak in Buncrana Cup in Clones

Monaghan score winning goal with last kick of the game to deprive Donegal semi-final spot

Donegal only needed a draw to secure second place in their group and a semi-final slot, but after coming back from six points down at half-time to draw level, they lost out with the last kick of the game.
Three Shane Sweeney points and one from Cathal McGee left Donegal trailing by 1-7 to 0-4 at half-time. The introduction of substitutes saw them perform really well in the second half, notching 1-8.
