Donegal U-17 hurlers come good in the second-half to defeat Armagh

Donegal welcomed Armagh to Convoy in the U-17 Hurling League on Saturday and after a slow first-half the hosts eventually found top gear in the second period to run out seven-point winners
If ever there was a game of two halves, this was it as Donegal eventually got to grips with Armagh in the U-17 Hurling League in Convoy.
Armagh bossed the first half using the strong wind to their advantage. Donegal did score 0-5 against the wind, but Armagh had the advantage at half time 1-7 to 0-5.
Donegal made some positional changes and came out with an intensity not seen in the first half. Donegal played well and had levelled the score after 5 minutes of the second half. Armagh struggled against the wind, only scoring 0-1 in the second half.
Best for Donegal was their full backline, Jacob Malone who played a captains role and Liam Doogan. Dylan Patton and Corey Sheridan were also on song with some great points.
