Donegal's Erin McLaughlin added to Ireland squad for second US friendly

Ireland went down 4-0 in the first meeting of the sides on Thursday with another meeting taking place on Sunday at 8pm (Irish time) at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio
Ireland Women’s National Team Head Coach Carla Ward has called up Erin McLaughlin for the second International Friendly against the USA.
Ireland went down 4-0 in the first meeting of the sides on Thursday with another meeting taking place on Sunday at 8pm (Irish time) at the TQL Stadium in Cincinnati, Ohio.
The injured pair of Megan Campbell (ankle) and Denise O’Sullivan (knee) drop out with McLaughlin, a native of Culdaff, linking up with the squad following Thursday night’s first game in Colorado.
McLaughlin – who recently left Portsmouth – has already earned three WNT caps and the 22-year-old provides cover across midfield and attack. Also, Philadelphia-born Dee Bradley will train with the squad in Ohio. The Durham defender qualifies through her Donegal-born father and Cork-born mother.
