Patton is expected to be back between the posts following injury this Sunday evening, June 15, when Donegal face Mayo in their first potential do-or-die match of the All-Ireland series so far.

Garda Patton, who has been based in Inishowen for a number of years, was thrilled to receive such a warm welcome at Cashel Na Cor and countless well wishes for the weekend match, which Donegal need to win to get their All-Ireland bid firmly back on track.placeholder image

With Garda Patton in nets, Donegal will be hoping to ‘arrest’ the Mayo attack and ‘book’ a place in the last eight!

Everyone at Cashel Na Cor wishes him and the team every success for Sunday.
