Garden furniture deliberately set on fire in Carndonagh criminal damage incident
The suspect is described as a man aged in his 60s with 'long grey hair'
Inishowen Gardaí are seeking the assistance of the public in connection with a criminal damage fire incident in Carndonagh.
A garden table within a patio area at the rear of a business premises in Pound Street was deliberately set on fire at approximately 3am during the early hours of Thursday, April 30th.
The suspect is described as a man aged in his 60s with long grey hair.
The table was damaged as a result of the blaze, and a flower pot was also destroyed.
The fire was still smouldering when the business owner arrived the following morning, and thankfully, he managed to extinguish it.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have relevant information to contact the station in Buncrana on 07493 20540.
“If anyone travelled in that area with a dash-cam between 2am and 4am that morning, we ask them to make the footage available to us,” a Garda spokesperson has urged.
