Georgie Kelly on the mark again as Carlisle boost League 2 survival hopes
Tooban man Georgie Kelly opened the scoring for the Mark Hughes-managed Carlisle in a 2-0 away win at Morecambe
Georgie Kelly scored again as Carlisle United moved off the bottom of League 2.
Kelly opened the scoring for the Mark Hughes-managed Carlisle in a 2-0 away win at Morecambe.
The Tooban man netted in the 27th minute, heading past Harry Burgoyne after connecting to a Jack Ellis cross.
Kelly might have doubled his tally just moments later, but was denied by a fine block.
Terell Thomas added a second in the second half and Kelly had the ball in the net again, but a handball infringement in the build-up by Joe Bevan saw it chalked off.
Last weekend, Kelly bagged a brace in a 3-2 win over Newport County.
